Tour description

As the name suggests, this trail connects the eastern part of Ramsau - the Vordere Ramsau - to the stadium trail. The trail is relatively easy and flat, running between the Alte Mühle junction and the Rupmoos junction over very gently undulating terrain. The trail features a skating and a classic track in each direction and has a total length of approx. 4.2 km. Only very slight inclines and descents, therefore also quite suitable for beginners. Other trails that you can reach directly via the Standardloipe Ost or that connect directly to it are:

the Rössingloipe at the Alte Mühle junction
the Sonnenloipe OST at the Alte Mühle junction
the Kulmdörfl-Loipe at the Rupmoos junction
the Stadionloipe at the Rupmoos/BILLA junction

From the Alte Mühle trail portal, you ski on the upper track (closer to the Rössingstraße) towards Ramsau-Kulm. Across gently undulating terrain, you pass the football pitch until you reach the Rupmoos junction (connection to the Kulmdörfl and Stadion trails). From there, you return on the lower track, passing the football pitch once again, back to the starting point at the Alte Mühle (connection to the classic Sonnenloipe OST and Rössingloipe trails).

Exit the Ennstal main road at Schladming-Mitte. Continue to Ramsau am Dachstein and at the junction towards Rössing proceed to the Alte Mühle cross-country skiing portal. When arriving from the east, access to the portal in Rössing is also possible via Weißenbach bei Haus.

Take the Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe buses from Schladming (also from the train station) to Ramsau, stop Kulm or Stierer. From there, it is approx. a 10-minute walk to the western entry point at the Rupmoos junction.
From the Stierer stop, change to line 962 and travel to the Alte Mühle stop.
