Hiking Bus Eschachalm

107 Reviews

Schladming

In the summertime, the hiking bus runs 4 times a day from Schladming - Planet Planai into the Obertal to the Eschachalm. The car may be parked at Planet Planai and with the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard this bus ride is free of charge.

Enjoy your road trip and start your hiking tour at Hopfriesen or Eschachalm. Numerous hiking opportunities open up here. You can go for a short walk and stop for refreshments in the hut, next to the busstop.

A particularly beautiful hike leads to the Duisitzkarsee, which can be reached in about one hour. Several huts invite you to spend your time there. Also a nice tour is to the Keinprechthütte.
For sporty ambitious hikers, the cross-valley hike from the Obertal/Eschachalm to the Preuneggtal/Ursprungalm is ideal. The hiking bus will also take you back to Schladming to Planet Planai.

For groups of 10 persons or more, registration at the Planai bus office is required at least 1 day in advance!

This timetable is valid from 27th of  Mai until until 8th of October 2023

Riesachsee 2-Tages-Tour..

RELAXING AND PUNCTUAL BUS-TRIP "WILDE WASSER"

KATHLEEN BEYAERT |
Exciting view during the Alpine Trail through the "Höll" to the valley (with the bus-stop Wilde Wasser). The trip back to the hotel in Schladming with the "Planai-Hochwürzen-Bahnen" was relaxing and punctual.

EXCITING HIKING TOUR AFTER AN EXCITING BUS TRIP TO URSPRUNGALM

DOBBELAERE NIKOLAS |
A professional bus driver brought us to our start point in Ursprungalm. The mountain lake trial from Ursprungalm to Eschachalm (with the lakes Giglachsee and Duisitzkarsee) was not only beautiful but also defiant, especially the descent at the end of the tour. As I am only 12 years old, it makes me quickly thirsty...
