Questions and answers
Winter
Tobogganing fun can be had on the 7 km long Hochwurzen toboggan run, the Galsterberg family toboggan run, or the natural toboggan run on the Rittisberg. Many runs are also illuminated in the evening.

THE NIGHTRACE is the name given to the legendary night slalom, which has been held under floodlights on the Planai since 1997.In 2023, a Ski World Cup race was held in Schladming for the first time as a night giant slalom.
However, both races are now often referred to as THE NIGHTRACE.

learn moreThe Schladming-Dachstein ski region in the heart of Austria has 99 modern lifts, 33 of which are children's lifts and magic carpets.
The longest descent is on the Hochwurzen. The slopes "FIS", "Prims", and the valleyrun are 8 km long.
With 92 kilometers of blue slopes, the area is particularly child- and youth-friendly.
The following children's areas are located directly at the valley station:
- Wollis Kids Park at Hauser Kaibling
- Kaliland in Ramsau am Dachstein
- Riesneralm children's ski area
- Children's area at the Planneralm
The following ski mountains boast spacious and lovingly designed children's areas:
- The Gallic ski village on the Galsterberg
- Hopsi-Winterkinderland on the Planai
- Reiteralm Kinderland
- Kali's adventure slopes in Ramsau am Dachstein
- Children's ski routes Fageralm
The total length is 222 kilometers of slopes, which are divided into the following levels of difficulty:
- blue (easy): 92 km
- red (medium): 115 km
- black (difficult): 15 km
