The tour

From Gleiming you take Reiteralm cable-car "Silver Jet" and then continue via "Gasselhöhe" chairlift to Reiteralm. From the top of the chairlift you start snow shoeing to the South. A first easy ascent takes you uphill before the second ascent - which is a bit steeper - brings you up to the summit of Gasselhöhe mountain. At the wooden cross on top you enjoy the views of Schladming Tauern mountain range and the Dachstein massif as well as of the Ennstal valley.

Turn-by-turn directions

From Gleiming you take the Silver-Jet gondola and the 6-seater chairlift Gasselhöhe to the Reiteralm. From the top station of the chairlift you start with the snowshoes in southern direction. A first easy ascent brings you to a small hill before the further ascent to the Gassehöhe begins. Arrived at the summit cross of the Gasselhöhe you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Schladminger Tauern, the Dachstein massif and the Enns valley.
