Harmeralm

Nature Park Sölktäler

On the rustic Harmeralm with dairy farming, Ennstaler Steierkas is produced according to an old traditional recipe. Butter is also produced, typical of alpine farming in the Ennstal. Both can be enjoyed on the Harmeralm at Lake Schwarzensee.

Albert and Gundi Binder's Harmeralm is located directly at the Schwarzensee lake in the Kleinsölktal Nature Park. A rustic water wheel, wonderful panoramic views, petting animals and their own dairy farm await guests at 800m above sea level. After an easy 25-minute hike from the car park, guests reach the alpine pasture. Opening time is from the end of May to the end of September. Hiking tips include the Schwarzenseerunde past the Säusenbach waterfall and the higher-lying Steinigboden young cattle farm. Afterwards, enjoy a Almjause from the traditional Almwirtschaft.

Products: Fresh milk & butter from May to September, sour milk cheese (Steirerkäse) from May to October.
