Filming Location - Christophorus 14 Helicopter Base

The helicopter base of Christophorus 14 is located at the airfield in Niederöblarn. Numerous episodes of the TV series have already been shot there, as the helicopter is an important feature of the series. 

To maintain the operational readiness during filming, the TV series mainly uses the replacement aircraft of the Christophorus Air Rescue Association. The Christophorus Air Rescue Association (CFV) is the largest air rescue provider in Austria and provides emergency helicopters in each of the nine federal states.  Founded by the regional associations of the automobile club ÖAMTC as a non-profit association, they carry out medical emergency operations, accident and transfer flights from their 16 helicopter bases all year round. The Christophorus 14 in Niederöblarn has been in operation since July 2001.
