The tour
Sun, here I come! On this hike you walk up the path turn by turn in the direction of Fischeralm to the so-called "Spinn'Stoan". There are also benches along the way where you can rest and have a snack. A wonderful winter hike to fill up on vitamin D, enjoy the view and take a deep breath.
Turn-by-turn directions
Pass the bus stop and walk up the road in the direction of the settlement house. Shortly before the settlement house, the path leads up to the left, over a short meadow and forest section. Be careful here, it can sometimes be slippery or icy. Once you have reached the fence/passage, keep to the right and continue for a short distance until you reach the forest road. Turn left here and go steadily uphill, hairpin bend by hairpin bend. After the eighth bend you have reached the destination of the hike - the so-called Spinn'Stoan. Follow the same path back down into the valley.
Getting there
From the Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) turn off at the Trautenfels junction in the direction of Irdning, Donnersbach, Donnersbachwald. Through the village of Donnersbach and another 12 km to Donnersbachwald to the village center.
Take the 941 bus to the "Donnersbachwald Ort" bus stop. There is also the starting point of the hike.
