Trail closure in the Luser waterfall area
A rockfall has occurred in the area of the Luser waterfall Weißenbach. The path is closed until further notice and the market town of Haus will close it at the signposts for Rössinglandesstraße and Burgstallerweg.
In the area of the Rabinger farm, there was also storm damage in the form of wind throws.

The tour
The only archaeology trail in the Ennstal was opened in 2000 and is run by members of ANISA on a voluntary basis. It is a cultural highlight from the late Roman period. The visitor can follow a tour of a late Roman retreat settlement. Signposts and explanatory panels tell about life almost 2,000 years ago.

Ab dem Ausgangspunkt neben der Landesstraße Ramsau/Rössing (Achtung: auf gelbe Beschilderung achten) führt ein Feldweg bis zum Luserbach. Von dort geht es immer bergwärts entlang dieses Baches bis zum Luserwasserfall. Vorbei am Wasserfall bergauf bis zur Forststraße zum Burgstaller. Dieser Forststraße bis zum Burgstaller folgen. Kurz vor dem Gehöft führt ein Wiesenweg etwas bergab zum Archäologiepfad (ca. 5 Gehminuten). Der Beschilderung entlang des Pfades folgen - viele besondere Tafeln und Schilder erläutern die Funde und Besonderheiten dieser Römersiedlung. Rückweg wie Hinweg zum Ausgangspunkt bei der Landesstraße Ramsau/Rössing.

main road (B320) - exit: Weißenbach - at Weißenbach centre follow the street direction Ramsau/Rössing - Landesstraße Ramsau/Rössing - next to the street is a forest road, which leeds to the Luserwasserfall (yellow signs)
Arrival by public transport not possible.

Wer nur den Archäologiepfad besichtigen möchte, kann bis zum Burgstaller mit dem Auto zufahren. Von dort sind es nur mehr ca. 5 Gehminuten.
