Christmas in St. Nikolai
The snowy mountain village of St. Nikolai becomes a place of reflection and contemplation during Advent.
In a simple, yet festive atmosphere, a spiritual path to the birth of Christ is followed. Whoever would like to follow this path on the 4 Advent Saturdays until Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, either partially or completely, is cordially invited by the village development association and the parish of St. Nikolai.
The Saturday services take place at 7 pm in the parish church of St. Nikolai.
On Christmas Eve, the life-size manger is opened and the Children's Christmas is celebrated. This shortens the wait for the Christ Child with beautiful Christmas stories. In addition, in St. Nikolai, as once in Bethlehem, you will find an old wooden stable with Joseph and Mary with the baby Jesus in the manger.
