At the most scenic Alpine marathon: the Torlauf Dachstein. A spectacular running event along the south side of the Dachstein massif.
Every year, numerous athletes from all over the world make the pilgrimage to this insider tip among trail running competitions.
Do you really want to know? Then conquer the technically highly challenging marathon (42 km), where you will really get your pulse racing. At up to 2,500 metres in altitude, you will climb steeply up a dreamy gorge, among other things. The Edelgries, a free, breathtaking scree landscape and an approx. 10-metre via ferrata (A) also await you.
Is the marathon still a step too high for you? Then choose the half marathon (24 km), which involves about 500 metres of altitude gain.
But also for all hobby runners who would like to take part and get infected with marathon fever, there are two options this year:
- The 10 km loop: complete a "relaxed" 10 km loop through Ramsau and enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery.
- NEW! The relay race (4x10 km): form a team of 4 runners, compete with a team of colleagues from your work or start an internal challenge with your club.
Prize money, a raffle, numerous exhibitors, a professional photo service and catering await the participants.
