Advent concert of the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra

On Wednesday, December 13, 2023 Simona Eisinger and Maro Di Sapia will perform at the Advent Concert of the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra in Pruggern.

We are a highly professional, traditional and internationally sought-after Viennese chamber orchestra, which has enjoyed many great successes since its foundation in 1997.

We specialize in the repertoire of the Viennese Classical period, especially the works of Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as well as the great music of the Strauss dynasty and their contemporaries. We attach great importance to the Viennese style of sound and are able to interpret the above composers not only subtly individually, but also traditionally. After all, "Viennese" is in our blood.

The orchestra members all grew up in Vienna or studied in this wonderful musical metropolis. They were able to imbibe the passion for making music and the internationally sought-after "Viennese" already during their training. The long-standing members of the ensemble are experienced, committed and artistically highly qualified musicians who have already performed in a wide variety of orchestras and music houses in Austria.

The Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra Vienna also has a wealth of experience in working with singers and ballet. As an accompanying orchestra, we are not only characterized by a high musical level and tonal homogeneity, but also attach great importance to a charming presentation and an extremely elite appearance. From symphonic concerts, traditional New Year's concerts, opera and operetta galas with vocal soloists and ballet, to the dance music of the wonderful Viennese balls - our repertoire is large and the orchestra size variable, suitable for any occasion.

In addition to the regular concert activity in Vienna at the Orangery Schönbrunn, the orchestra has already been celebrated internationally as a visiting card of Austria - among others in China, Japan, Singapore, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the USA and Brazil.
