Traditional "Kräuterhexenfest"
Every year on August 15th (Assumption of Mary) the traditional "Kräuterhexenfest" festival takes place on the Schafalm Planai.
Our guests can expect a herbal market with regional herbal products, guided herbal hikes and in the afternoon a herbal blessing with Pastor Dr. Michael Unger.
Today´s music group: "Hochgrössen Buam"
Our atmospheric music groups ensure a good mood and let the dance leg swing.
We also serve regional delicacies and tap-fry Schladmigner beer.

Getting here
The easiest way to get to the schafalm is with the new 10-seated Planai cable car,
alternative you can reach the schafalm via the chargeable "Planaistraße". (13 kilometers long)
The cable car can be used for free once a day with a valid "Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard".
There ist a parking area for cars at the "Planaihof", just 150m away from the schafalm.
The "Planaistraße" is passable with nearly all types of buses, please get here in touch with us before.
