Opas Diandl - "s t r ö m e n" das neue Programm

Just like the past programs, Opas Diandl create a journey through emotional worlds, remain seriously playful and dance from clear love songs to complex arranged sound worlds. They leave social issues of the time just as much at the door as the fantasy stories that emerge from the moment.

With the multi-instrumentalist Markus Prieth, the band has a musician who leads the concert evenings as if by magic from one mood to the next, from the absurd to the concrete, from laughter to tears. 

Veronika Egger is an exceptional violinist and gambist, equally at home in ancient and contemporary music. Her energetic playing, her certainty and precision simply astonish and delight. 

Jan Langer, accompanied by his percussion through the pulse of the works. Always calm and level-headed even on the wildest rides. Matthias Härtel on double bass has absorbed the folk music of his parents to the tips of his hair and gives the dances the right power and while the others dance Thomas Lamprecht sits at the guitar with sheet and pen and writes one of the many lyrics or one of the many finely woven songs.

Even after 15 years pushing from the inside out and from the outside in, no different than
air and water and no less than blood and warmth, the melodies and rhythms, the words
