HUAT album release Weidagånga

HUAT

HUAT dress energetic rock music in the garb of Styrian dialect. The four musicians from Graz are bursting with energy and joy of playing, which comes across much "bigger" than the Styrian Ennstal, to which singer Marco, "Huat", Hutegger owes his dialect. The contemporary lyrics, taken from real life, which address love and loss in an equally empathetic way as the inhumanity of the refugee debate and the "Hoamgeh um 4 in da Fruah", lend authenticity and touch the heart.
The debut album "Weidagånga", which will be released in 2024 and was recorded together with friend and sound engineer Daniel Vitar, depicts the path through difficult times with strong autobiographical traits and yet always remains optimistic and full of joie de vivre. Taken literally, "Weidagånga" is an appeal to not give up, to carry on and to keep believing in the good.
Ennstal meets rock 'n' roll. Blues harp meets distorted and acoustic guitar, drums, bass and dialect lyrics that go straight to the heart. Jack White meets the young Led Zeppelin on a Schladminger and it sounds as if they have relatives here. That's what HUAT sounds like.
