Assach winter forest

Advent market on the village square in Assach under the motto "Customs of St Nicholas and Krampus"

Over 20 exhibitors and 4 stalls catering for the physical well-being will be back in 2023.
Hobby artists who create their products with love and dedication and display them on the beautiful village square in Assach. In addition to many products from various hobby craftsmen and artists, there is also punch, mulled wine, chestnuts and local specialities such as biscuits, doughnuts and Kletzenbrot!

Despite the large number of visitors, the winter forest has remained unspoilt and has an almost family atmosphere.

In the Christuskirche, the choir and musicians provide the perfect atmosphere for Advent with their music and singing.
The pupils of the Aich community, the Aich Singrunde, the flute group of the music school and the brass players of the Aich band will be performing from 3.00 pm onwards.

When St Nicholas arrives at 5.30 pm with his Krampus, it is not with loud shouting and bell ringing, but calmly and quietly.
When St Nicholas "Ferdinand Seebacher", former actor in the series "Die Bergretter", delivers his traditional speech, even the smallest children are not afraid of the Krampus and look up to St Nicholas with awe!
Every child receives a gift and afterwards even the children dare to visit Krampus.
