Welcome to the Vorberghof!

 Our feel-good farm is located on the high plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein in the Vorberg district. We offer you an unforgettable vacation home, for eventful days in the middle of the green heart of Austria. As we are a Sommercard partner, you can use mountain railroads, toll roads, buses and swimming pools free of charge with the Sommercard.

Hiking and riding trails as well as mountain bike trails lead right past the Vorberghof. Stores, restaurants and the bathing paradise can be found in the center of Ramsau am Dachstein, 4 km away. In winter, you can access the cross-country ski trails of the Nordic World Ski Championships '99 directly from the Vorberghof. The ski bus, which takes you to the Ramsau ski area with Kali's adventure slopes and to the 4-mountain ski area Planai in the Ski amadé ski area, stops just a 5-minute walk from us.

 Our house with its typical alpine flair is surrounded by colorful meadows and with its magnificent mountain panorama offers an oasis for peace and relaxation, far away from street noise and hectic. The bright, family-friendly rooms and a vacation apartment with fully equipped kitchen offer enough space for the whole family to feel at home. All spacious non-smoking rooms have a shower, WC, satellite TV, WiFi and a balcony with a wonderful mountain view. Guests of our vacation apartment can take advantage of the daily bread roll service in the morning. Our extensive breakfast buffet with products from regional agriculture is the best way to start your day.

 Here at Vorberghof, the wishes of our younger guests are very important: our pets such as rabbits, goats, cats and ponies are exciting for all ages, and you can get up close to them and pet them. Some curious children can watch us in the stables or even pick up a pitchfork themselves. A ride with the ponies through the forest is free for all children in summer. (self-guided by the parents)

 In winter, the wonderful slopes of the Ramsau and Ski amadé ski areas invite you to enjoy winter sports to the full. Additional activities such as curling, tandem flights, snowshoe hikes, toboggan runs, cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails are also available. A tip is a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride with the landlord through the snow-covered winter landscape of Ramsau am Dachstein.
