Ramsau am Dachstein in Styria is a well-liked holiday destination in winter as well as in summer, thanks to its “three levels” - plateau, Alpine pastures, and the Dachstein glacier with its mountain range. It leaves nothing to be desired for cross-country and alpine skiers, hikers, climbers, and mountain bikers. Our Villa Lindenhof is the ideal starting point for many activities. In winter, the 220 km network of cross-country trails is right on the doorstep; in summer, there are lovely benches along the panorama walk, inviting you for a rest during an easy-going stroll.

For your relaxing holiday, our flats are generously furnished, elegantly and carefully, complete with all mod cons. Solid-wood furniture and comfortable mattresses provide for a good night’s sleep and for a great start into each day’s adventure. All rooms have a cosy sitting area and a balcony or a terrace with gorgeous views across Ramsau am Dachstein. If you wish, you can take advantage of a bread delivery service, or simply treat yourself to a rich and balanced buffet breakfast in the elegant lounge of our Hotel Lindenhof, where we offer products from our own farm as well as from other local farms. Let us spoil you in our restaurant in the evening, too, with more of local delicacies carefully prepared and presented as selections in a set dinner.

After an extensive hike or a demanding ski tour, you are welcome to give your body and soul a treat and relax at the 4-star Hotel Lindenhof. Our Well-being Oasis, designed with attention to detail and with a stylish ambience, features infinity-pool, a Finnish sauna, an aroma steam bath, an infra-red warm-up cabin, a bio sauna and a relaxation room.

In summer, there is direct access to the natural swimming pool, offering a welcome cool-down on a hot day. Or simply put your feet up and have a rest on our sunbathing lawn. We are happy to serve coffee and homemade cakes as well as all kinds of refreshments on the sun terrace. 

The landlord of the hotel is actually working with the film team of the popular German TV show “Die Bergretter” (The Mountain Rescuers) as an Alpine expert. Being a “Bergretter Fan Hotel”, we are happy to offer the possibility to book our in-house mountain guide with whom you can set out on hikes and guided via ferrata tours in all levels of difficulty. Ramsau am Dachstein is internationally renowned for its 18 via ferratas - two of which are children’s climbing paths - where you also have the option to acquire a “Via ferrata licence”.

For your kids, you find at our Hotel Lindenhof in Ramsau am Dachstein a playroom with video games, table tennis, tabletop football and a large playing area all around the house. Our playground with a trampoline and a playhouse completes the offer for children. Also, we propose set children’s menus for our little guests.
