Ramsau am Dachstein’s countryside and its impressive mountain scenery surrounds our Haus Silberdistel, making it a delightful destination both in summer and winter. In the heart of Ramsau Ort, Haus Silberdistel is on the hiking path and the sunny cross-country trail.
With its gloriously cosy feeling, our house is in a sunny spot less than ten minutes from Ramsau village centre, where you’ll find restaurants, pizzerias, a hairdresser, a grocery store, ski rental, a ski lift, and ski schools. A 15-minute bus ride from the nearby bus stop takes you easily to the Dachstein glacier, with its varied ski runs and ski routes.

As your holiday home, we offer an ample, 66 m² or 85 m² flat for two to six guests. The Haus Silberdistel holiday flat is on the first floor of a family home, and the homely feeling radiates through the house. You can look forward to relax in a flat with bright wood, two or three comfy bedrooms, one of which has two single beds - hence making it an ideal place for a family holiday. In the apartment is a bathroom with shower and a separate WC; a second bathroom you find in den third bedroom. Also, there is a large balcony with great views over the Rittisberg and the surrounding ski mountains of Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Reiteralm, and Hochwurzen – all waiting for you to explore. Free WiFi, parking, and the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card are included for guests at Haus Silberdistel.

Ramsau’s 220 km network of cross-country trails for skiers of all levels is great for easy-going skiers as well as for top athletes. The Dachstein glacier with its excellent, well-groomed ski runs, gorgeous powder slopes, and striking fun park makes Ramsau am Dachstein a true sport paradise – and not just in winter.


Get to know the best side of the mountains in summer and set out for wonderful hikes or bike tours through Ramsau am Dachstein’s stunning countryside. For top athletes, there is a large number of demanding climbing routes and hikes in the high-alpine areas, while families can enjoy exciting, adventurous days out at the Rittisberg with summer tobogganing, high ropes course, archery, and swimming lake.
