Our traditional 3*** Hotel Gasthof Stockerwirt lies in the heart of Ramsau am Dachstein in Austria. Our hotel held in Styrian style is close to the cross-country tracks and skating trails, as well as to the winter walking paths. The bus stops right in front of our house, taking you to the family ski resort Ramsau am Dachstein with “Kali’s adventure pistes”, and to the Schladming Dachstein four interlinked ski mountains with the resorts Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm, part of the Ski amadé area. In summer, we are an ideal starting point for uncountable walks, hikes, mountain bike tours, horseback riding, and much more. Only five minutes by foot away from the Gasthof Stockerwirt, there is a horse farm with an indoor and outdoor riding ring and great possibilities for a hack. Another treat for the whole family is a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. The cosy rooms in our traditional 3*** Hotel Gasthof Stockerwirt are spacious, some have a sofa, in Styrian style and have private bathrooms with bath tub or shower and WC, Sat TV, radio, balcony with gorgeous views to the Dachstein south face and the Tauern mountains. Our house with lift is barrier-free, offering two barrier-free rooms. You find relaxation in our small but fine coloured light and aroma well-being area with a sauna and an infrared cabin. After a day out, full of activities like skiing or hiking, this is a real treat for tired muscles. We have been awarded with “Gute steirische Gaststätte” (“Good Styrian Restaurant”), “Genusswirt”, as well as with the “AMA Seal of Quality” for the use of local products, and we spoil you with Austrian and regional, Styrian dishes, but also with international and vegetarian delicacies. In the morning, we welcome you with a large buffet breakfast featuring fresh bread and bread rolls, mueslis, jams, honey, spreads, cheese, eggs, and ham from the Schladming-Dachstein region. In the evening, you choose between some set menus and fresh, crisp lettuce and salads. To finish off, enjoy our homemade desserts, strudels, and cakes.
