Snowshoe hike to the Sölkpass
Tour description
In forested areas, special consideration must be given to wildlife. Wildlife protection zones are marked on the maps of the various tours. Please try to follow the rules and remain fair towards the animals and plants!
The tour

Starting from St. Nikolai, hike along the road to the Hansenalm and continue to the Bergrettungshütte. From here, turn right through the sparse high forest towards the Kaltenbachalm. Now continue straight up to the Sölkpass and the Sölkpasskapelle. Return along the same path.
- Snowshoes and poles with large snow baskets. Also ankle-high, warm boots, warm clothing, gloves and a beanie, and possibly gaiters.
- Avalanche transceiver (LVS), shovel and probe.
- Backpack with a small snack and a warm drink in a thermos.
