Sattelberghütte
Tour description
The Sattelberg Hut is the destination for excursions along the nature and family adventure trail with 17 stations.
During a two-hour walk, interesting natural processes are explained.
The small Ramsau water world and the walk-in hollow lime tree trunk are located in the immediate vicinity.
There is a great playground at the hut with a giant forest slide, a petting zoo, and a great panorama from the terrace towards the Schladminger Tauern.
We offer not only a great atmosphere, but also fresh, regional, and honest cuisine. It is not without reason that the Sattelberghütte has been awarded the title “Kulinarium Steiermark Hütte” – a sign of authentic Styrian cuisine in an authentic atmosphere.
For example, try a special dish as part of the Schladming-Dachstein Almkulinarik by Richard Rauch.
Furthermore, there are many children's and youth climbing routes on the Sattelberg for climbing, practicing, and trying out.
The Sattelberghütte is open daily from 11 a.m. from May to October and from December to March.
