Nature.Power.Place Johannes Chapel
Tour description
St. John's Chapel in Pürgg was built in the early 12th century as the oldest church in Styria in the Romanesque style on a rocky plateau above the village of Pürgg. Its unique murals make it a UNESCO World Heritage Site! The sweeping view over the Enns Valley, the Grimming Mountains, and Trautenfels Castle is indescribable.
THE RESONANCE EXERCISE
LIGHT SHOWER FOR THE DIAPHRAGM
For you
- Find the best footing on the rocky plateau that holds everything.
- With your eyes closed, perceive the light and imagine yourself under a "light shower." Inhale deeply and absorb the light through your body, deep into every cell.
- Exhale until your lungs empty completely. Close your nose and mouth and try to inhale, even though you can't. Feel the relaxation in your diaphragm and continue breathing normally.
Perform the breathing exercise together and, with each additional inhalation and exhalation, explore how your own breathing power – perceived – increases in the resulting rhythmic field.

A free, relaxed diaphragm counteracts feelings of tightness and restricted movement in the chest and back.

How does relaxation in the diaphragm feel? How do I perceive the light? Which areas of my body are particularly grateful for the light shower?
