Haus Mayerhofer

A warm welcome to Haus Mayerhofer in beautiful Ramsau am Dachstein. Our old-established traditional farm is located in a quiet and sunny position, only five minutes by foot away from the Ramsau am Dachstein village centre.

Directly at our farm you can access the cross-country trails as well as great paths for winter walking with the whole family. The ski lift right beside our house is particularly suitable for beginners and children. The bus stop of the free of charge local ski bus, which takes you to the ski resort amadé, is only a short distance away.

In our farmhouse, there are five cosy and spacious guest rooms available, held in a modern county-house style, with bright oak furniture and wooden floors, SAT TV and a sunny balcony with gorgeous views to the surrounding mountains. Attention to detail contributes to a “feel-good” atmosphere for the whole family. The WLAN is of course free of charge for our guests and accessible all over the Haus Mayerhofer. Start your adventurous day fortified by a hearty buffet breakfast. Let us spoil you with fresh produce from our own kitchen, garden and farming.

For your children, we are happy to provide cot, high chair, board games, toys, books and much more. Kids simply love farm holidays, having lots of fun playing outdoors in nature or on our great playground with slide, swing, trampoline, go-karts and a large outdoor playing area. Your children are welcome to help us feeding the farm animals: the rabbits, cats, horses, and goats and to get to know them. Enjoy some relaxing quality time in our sun bathing area or have a stroll through the near Ramsau village centre.

In Ramsau am Dachstein, families find manifold adventurous as well as relaxing activities. From an easy-going stroll on the Ramsau plateau to an Alpine mountaineering tour or a climb along one of the via ferratas in the Dachstein mountains, there is a great offer available in the certified “Walking village” and climatic spa Ramsau.

The walk along the Ramsau “Toleranzweg”-trail leads you, directly from our Haus Mayerhofer, along a demanding path up to the “Predigtstuhl”. In winter, the Haus Mayerhofer in Ramsau am Dachstein is the ideal resort for winter-sunbathers, nature lovers and sport enthusiasts of all age groups. The central location of our farm is the perfect starting point for cross-country skiing, Alpine skiing, winter walking, tobogganing and many further activities.
