To the Stubeggsattel, the route leads moderately uphill through the Raumberg forest to the Stubegg chapel. After a short pause there, the trail descends again towards Buchmannlehen and back via Bleiberg.

The starting point is in Raumberg at the chapel. From there you walk along the asphalt road, which soon turns into a gravel road, to the edge of the forest, where you keep to the right. Passing the barrier, you shorten the forest road, which runs in serpentines, again and again through the forest. A rest area with a fountain built by the students of the HBLFA Raumberg invites you to take a short break. Once you reach the highest point, the forest thins out and you follow a wider path downhill to the Stubegg Chapel, where you can take a break at one of the many seats. After a rest, you will follow the forest path to Bleiberg. Along the Bleiberggraben to some houses, where you turn right. Where the road makes a right turn, you go left down through the forest, to the small stream and uphill back to Raumberg.

Coming from Schladming or Liezen, leave the Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) in Trautenfels and take the Donnersbach/Irdning/Aigen exit at the roundabout and continue to Irdning. Turn right at the crossroads in front of the Billa supermarket and after 1 km turn right again towards Raumberg. At the end of the village you will find the car park near the chapel.Small car park near the chapel
Take bus no. 940 to Irdning bus station, then bus no. 941 to Raumberg. Unfortunately there is no bus to Raumberg during the summer holidays. Bus timetable: www.verbundlinie.at

Shoes with a light tread, Clothing in line with the weather forecast, Rucksack with small provisions to enjoy nature at the chapel or on one of the benches.
- Turn back in good time if the weather deteriorates. If you get caught in a thunderstorm, stay away from individual trees. Wait out the storm, preferably in a crouched position.
- Stay on the marked paths and remember to close pasture fences.
- Keep calm in an emergency and call the mountain rescue service on 140. If you have no reception, take out your SIM card and dial 112.
- If you come across cows: It is best to pass above the herd at a distance of at least 50 metres. Keep calm, don't make any hectic movements and don't run away. Do not imitate cow sounds and do not try to stroke the animals. A stick and loud shouts can often make the animals turn back in an emergency.
- If you are a dog owner: Clarify before the hike whether you need to cross a pasture. Keep your dog on a lead and make sure it behaves calmly. In the event of a cow attack, let your dog off the lead immediately. Never pick him up to defend him.
The Stubeggkapelle chapel gives you time and space for a nice breather with a mountain panorama.
