Once upon a time there was a farm with six dairy cows.
This is how the story of the “Brandhof” began. Now run by the fourth generation, the Brandhof and the Brandalm have become a real jewel for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. You can feel the family bond between nature, forest and agriculture in our heart of the Brandhof parent house, the Brandhof Landhaus, which was newly renovated in 2020, as well as on the Brandalm. Lots of wood, loden & matching woolen materials in natural colors complement the feeling of wellbeing ‘in our apartments with a view of our wonderful mountain panorama.

Holidays on the Dachstein - with us, guests should spend their holiday with all their senses and consciously go into themselves in order to recharge their batteries for everyday life afterwards. We have made it our goal to make your holiday at the Brandhof something special and certainly a unique experience for young and old.
Surrounded by mountains, forests and meadows that have shaped our 'home' for centuries, our house is a perfect starting point for sport, peace and quiet and nature enjoyment in the country for the whole family.

Our little guests at the Brandhof experience an unforgettable holiday in the country while petting animals, feeding rabbits, cooking in the miniBRANDHOF and playing in the middle of the countryside.
In the meantime, the parents enjoy a pleasant break in our garden, which the senior manager designed with great attention to detail.

In addition to all the exciting experiences, we offer our guests with the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card a varied range of leisure activities with over 100 holiday attractions.

In winter, the Brandhof stands out from the crowd with its TOP location in the Ramsau am Dachstein family ski area. With the ski school and practice lift right next to our house, children of all ages can learn to ski in a playful way. For experienced skiers, the Rittisberg, just 300 meters away, and the “Amade” ski area (20 minutes by car) are ideal.
The Ramsau has always had the reputation of the cross-country skiing Mecca in Austria and offers almost 220 km of trails that also connect to our house.
