Cross-country tracks, walkways and hiking paths pass right by our family run Aparthotel DAS Hochkönig, and we’re just a two-minute walk away from the free ski bus taking you to ski amadé or to the Dachstein glacier. To get to the family ski area of Ramsau and to the core of ‘Ramsau’s in-house children’s ski school’, Kaliland, with the region’s largest winter playground, you simply take the Zauberlift ski run. The popular family ski resort Ramsau is right on our doorstep. The Kali adventure ski runs, the cosy huts, the idyllic cross-country tracks and the natural toboggan run guarantee exciting and adventurous winter holidays, all safe in the knowledge your ski equipment is safe in our in-house ski room.

Summer in Ramsau am Dachstein offers ideal conditions for the active guest as well as for all those looking for more leisurely pursuits. Take advantage of the surrounding ski lifts, such as the Dachstein glacier gondola or the Rittisberg chairlift, and reach higher altitudes without much strain. Wide walking paths lead back down to Ramsau both from Rittisberg and the Alpine pastures region. The sportier types can conquer numerous mountain tops with the summit cross or cruise along demanding mountain bike routes.
