Enjoy the piece and quiet and the wonderful, sunny landscape in gorgeous Ramsau am Dachstein in Styria. Our bed & breakfast „Frühstückspension Alpenhof“ is away from the main road in the part of the plateau called „Vordere Ramsau“. 50 metres behind the house, there is a short kids’ ski lift, which is particularly suitable for families with small children and beginners. The stop of the free of charge ski bus that takes you to the resorts of the Ski Amadé area is only 8 minutes by foot away. The sunny cross-country trail and the Panorama walking path are right on the doorstep of the Alpenhof. The spacious and bright suites, single, and double rooms are furnished with spruce wood and made by expert hand. They are allergy friendly and offer a large sunny balcony with a breathtaking view to the sourrounding Dachstein mountains and the Schladming Tauern. All rooms are tastefully furnished with solid wood, offering a comfortable organic bed with health mattress, SAT TV, and a private bathroom with shower and WC. You are welcome to use the infrared cabin on the first floor of the house free of charge. Relax and let your mind wander. Fortify yourself for a new day full of adventures at the rich breakfast buffet. We offer a lot of information material about Ramsau am Dachstein and the surrounding area, but we would be also more than happy to talk to you personally about the most beautiful destinations, ski and snowshoeing tours, the best Alpine ski huts and mountain restaurants, as well as the leisure activities offered throughout the region. For example the „Königsetappe“, a 12 km hike starting right at the Haus Alpenhof and leading up to the highest Alpine hut, the „Guttenberghaus“ on an altitude of 2.147 metres above sea level. After about two hours of hiking uphill, you descend to the Silbarkarhütte, followed by the fascinating gorge Silberkarklamm. There are also three demanding via ferratas in this area near the valley: "Siega", "Hias", and the newly built „Rosina“. In winter, our Alpenhof in Ramsau am Dachstein is the ideal place for everyone who loves nature and sports, no matter what age. The sunny location is a perfect starting point for cross-country skiing, Alpine skiing, winter walking, and many more activities.
