Welcome to the vacation!

Our organic farm, categorized with 4 flowers by Urlaub am Bauernhof, is located 4.5 km from Tauplitz and 25 km from Grundlsee and Altausseersee, in the Styrian Salkammergut, away from stress and hectic, in the midst of a unique landscape. A stress-free time with wellness, activities in sports, many hiking opportunities and family connection is guaranteed. Our accommodation with new and spacious apartments are bookable either with or without breakfast (Eco or Premium) and offer a fantastic view to the Grimming and the Dachstein massif. On the Tauplitzalm, in the middle of the Salzkammergut and the Ausseerland, we have built the Gindlhütte and furnished three beautiful vacation apartments for our guests.

In our vacation farm and guesthouse you will find the necessary comfort to relax. Our beautiful nature does the rest and you will find peace, relaxation and the space for the necessary time out for mind and soul.

With a walking time of just over an hour you stand at the summit of the Gindlhorn and enjoy all around the view of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

We are a partner business of the Grimming Therme in Bad Mitterndorf, 10 km away, and our guests get a five percent discount on every ticket. If they prefer to go by bike, there are opportunities to leave in all directions, as we are located, among others, directly on the cycle path of the Dachsteinrunde. We also have three e-bikes, which we also rent out.

Another highlight is our 3D archery course, where our guests can learn archery (seasonal). The heated swimming pool (seasonal), the children's playground and the climbing wall are of course available to every guest.

For skiing and cross-country skiing the family ski lift Spechtenseelift is three kilometers away, the Tauplitzalm five kilometers and also the Loser, the Planner or Riesneralm, as well as the Hauser Kaibling and the Planai are reachable within an hour.

Farm vacations is not just a saying with us, it is also lived at our family-run organic farm. The hosts want to get to know their guests personally and also have contact with them.

Our cats, cattle and six donkeys are always happy to be petted and enjoy the attentions of our small and large guests.

WELLNESS: After a wonderful day of hiking or skiing, when you have discovered the great outdoor offer of our great region or when you are just looking for some peace and quiet, our wellness area awaits you with everything your heart needs to relax. Whether sauna, infrared, whirlpool and ergometer with TV, for your ultimate wellness comfort is provided. Pure relaxation offers the in-house heated outdoor pool (seasonal) in the midst of green meadows.

- Bed linen is not included in the ECO accommodation price up to 3 nights. If the apartment is booked with breakfast, then bed linen and towels are provided in the Premium offer.
- We are a bronze partner company of the GrimmingTherme. Our guests get a voucher of 5% on various admissions.
- Please note in the winter months that you have to carry snow chains with your car or that you have a four-wheel drive vehicle.
- A stay of 2 nights or more is possible.
- In case of a fixed booking we allow ourselves to charge 20% deposit within 10 working days. The bank details will be sent after the booking is completed.
- All apartments are non-smoking!
- Pets are not allowed in our apartments!
