Ski Opening Schladming-Dachstein 2025
Backstreet Boys set to open winter season at “Ski Opening Schladming-Dachstein 2025”
Concert promoter Klaus Leutgeb and this Austrian tourism region are bringing the U.S. band to Schladming on December 5, 6, and 7. International concert promotor Klaus Leutgeb, in collaboration with Austrian holiday region Schladming-Dachstein and the Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Area, is once again pulling off a spectacular season opener: On December 5, 6, and 7, the Backstreet Boys will launch the 2025/26 winter season with three concerts at Planai Stadium as part of the “Ski Opening Schladming-Dachstein 2025” festivities.
Together with Leutgeb Entertainment Group, the Schladming-Dachstein Tourism Region in Styria and the 4-Mountain Ski Area (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm) have again invited a major crowd-puller to the Alps to kick off the winter season. Once more, Planai Stadium will become a hotspot for the international music scene and a mecca for thousands of fans of all generations. The Backstreet Boys join a long line of global superstars who have performed in Schladming: hot on the heels of Robbie Williams’ electrifying shows in 2023 and last year’s major success with Bryan Adams, Simply Red, and Sting – it is now time to give the boyband era the celebration it deserves!
From Las Vegas to Schladming
As you can imagine, anticipation for the Backstreet Boys concerts is already sky-high. Their three shows during Ski Opening are the only announced European concert dates for this iconic group to date. Currently, the Backstreet Boys are performing exclusively at Sphere in Las Vegas – making this an ultra-rare opportunity for their European fans. On July 11, they put out their new album Millennium 2.0, a rerelease of the five-time Grammy-nominated hit album Millennium, which originally came out 25 years ago. With over 130 million records sold, the Backstreet Boys rank among the most successful pop groups in music history. Hits like “Everybody,” “I Want It That Way,” and “As Long As You Love Me” have defined generations – and are sure to have Planai Stadium singing along and celebrating on December 5, 6, and 7, 2025.
