A new fully automated toll system provides even easier access to Ursprungalm. Vehicle recognition automatically registers the car on entry and exit – manual ticket collection is no longer necessary.

Especially convenient: Payment can be easily and time-savingly completed online in advance.

• Gravel road with a length of 8.5 km and approximately 500 m elevation gain with hairpin turns
• Maximum incline of 15% (short section)
• No discounts with the summer card
• Parking lot for 130 cars 
• Bus service (4 times daily)
• Accessible for buses up to 11m long possible upon request 

Possible excursions:

• Beautiful, easily walkable circular hiking trail around the alpine village, ideal for families and seniors
• Giglachsee at 2,000 m elevation
• Steirische Kalkspitze at 2,459  m elevation
• High-altitude paths to Hopfriesen | Duisitzkarsee | Keinprechthütte | Hochwurzen | Obertauern | Oberhüttensee-Forstau
