From the starting point at the Irdning leisure center, head straight ahead towards Trautenfels where you should have turned left along the fish ponds. Cross the Grimmingbach stream and turn right down to the old main road, which you follow until shortly before Untergrimming, where you turn right to Unterburg. After crossing the village, the trail climbs gently - a perfect section to enjoy the vastness of the Enns Valley and the view of Trautenfels.
In Niederhofen/Stainach, cross the road and follow the path to the Enns. Turn left there and walk close to the river to the Sallaberg bridge. After crossing the bridge, head back along the other bank of the Enns before keeping left at Mitterweg and returning to the starting point.
Easy terrain, gentle climbs and wonderful views - the perfect loop for a leisurely break.

- Coming from Schladming: Turn right before the bridge overpass at Trautenfels Castle and take the first exit at the traffic circle towards Irdning. Follow this road, which leads over a railroad crossing and over the Ennsbrücke bridge. Turn left at the village sign and park at the large parking lot of the Irdning recreational facility/sports field.
- Coming from Liezen: Turn right before the bridge overpass at Trautenfels Castle and take the 3rd exit at the traffic circle towards Irdning. Follow this road, which leads over a railroad crossing and over the Enns bridge. Turn left at the village sign and park at the large parking lot of the Irdning recreational facility/sports field.
Take the train to “Stainach-Irdning” and enter the running circuit directly at the rear exit of the station.
