The Treasure of Gradenbach
Tour description
Are you ready for a truly cool adventure?
During the treasure hunt “The Treasure of the Gradenbach,” all little and big explorers receive a mysterious, ancient treasure map that may hold the key to a valuable treasure. This map is not only a relic from long-forgotten times, but also the gateway to an exciting adventure that leads you straight into the heart of the Schladming-Dachstein region.
Various prominent spots are marked with an “X” on the map. At each of these stations, adventurers must solve a riddle. Those who successfully master the challenge receive a secret letter. Once you have collected all the letters, you can pick up your well-deserved treasure at the tourist offices in Haus or Schladming.
Treasure maps are available at the tourist offices in Haus and Schladming or directly on site at the Dorf Café Weißenbach.
The treasure hunt takes about 1–1.5 hours, depending on how much time you would like to spend in this magical place. 😉

Map, elevation profile & further information
Your tour begins at the parking area of the Kneipp facility in Weißenbach. From there, you walk toward the forest, passing the signpost on the left and entering the soothing tranquility of nature. Soon you reach the idyllic Siebenbrünn Water Trail, featuring babbling brooks, small water wheels, and lovingly designed water play stations.
Follow the shady forest path along the water adventure trail to the barrier. From there, turn around and return comfortably along the forest road to the Kneipp facility junction. At the Kneipp facility, it’s time to take off your shoes and refresh your feet in the cool water – a wonderful treat before continuing along the natural root path. Over roots and stones, you hike to the Sonnberg junction and finally back to the starting point at the parking area.
