The tour
Map, elevation profile & further information
The tour starts at the valley station of the Hauser Kaibling Bergbahnen in Haus im Ennstal and initially leads via Weißenbach and Aich along the Ennsradweg. Via Assach and the service road of the B320, the route continues to Pruggern and then via Moosheim, Tunzendorf, and Stein an der Enns towards Öblarn. Shortly before the village, the route branches off in Edling onto the Ennsradweg. In Öblarn, the Kaffeerina invites you to take a cozy break.
Afterwards, the route leads via the L734 and across the Enns up onto the beautiful Mitterberg. Passing through Berg, Gersdorf, Dorf, and Kaindorf, you reach Gröbming. From there, the challenging ascent to the Stoderzinken begins, where an impressive panorama awaits.
The return journey follows the same route back to Gröbming and continues via Moosheim and Pruggern. Along the Enns and via the Auweg, the path leads back to Aich. There, you turn left across the railroad tracks and past the Grafenwirt towards Haus. At the Spar supermarket, the route turns right into the Gewerbepark Aich. After a short section through the industrial area, keep left and cross a short meadow path before the route continues at the Turmöl gas station. This way, the busy and dangerous B320 can be completely avoided. Finally, the route leads via Höhenfeld and Ruperting back to Haus im Ennstal to the starting point at the valley station of the Hauser Kaibling Bergbahnen.
