Tour description
The fire station at Stoderzinken was built in 1982 and completely renovated in 2010. Since then, the house has been operated as a self-catering house for the volunteer fire department of Gröbming and is rented out year-round. The house is located at an altitude of 1800m on a high plateau amidst beautiful alpine landscape and mountain scenery, with a view of the Niedere Tauern. In summer, it is ideal for beautiful hikes or mountain tours, while in winter a small family-friendly ski area is available. The house can be reached from Gröbming via a 12km long and well-developed high alpine road.
