Farm holidays at the family-friendly Stiererhof farm featuring recreation and nature experience in idyllic Ramsau am Dachstein. Our farm, awarded with 4 flowers, is located at an altitude of about 1.100 m, between Ramsau Ort and Ramsau Kulm. A unique mountain and nature landscape surrounds us, with ample grasslands where you have the possibility to go skiing, both cross-country and alpine, as well as go for extensive walks along the romantic walking paths. For kids there is enough room to play and run around our farmhouse. The cross-country trails can be accessed directly at the house and the bus taking you to Schladming and the ski resorts amadé, Ramsau Rittisberg or to the Dachstein glacier gondola lift is just a short walk of five minutes away. The bakery and grocery store as well as the ski school and sports shops are within walking distance and to be reached in ten minutes. The Stiererhof farm consists of four newly built buildings, all of them are deliberately separate from one another. The farmhouse, the guesthouse with spacious holiday flats for 2 - 6 persons, two of which are barrier free. Behind these, there are our buildings for farming, such as the modern barn with room for mother cows and calves, horses, the pot-bellied pig named Gitti, hens, geese, ducks, hares and our dog Carlo. On the farm, guests and locals are welcome to purchase produce from our fish farm. Our holiday flats are furnished in country-house style and from 57 m² to 95 m² large. They all have Internet access, underfloor heating and a balcony or a sunny terrace with a sitting area. The spacious and bright eat-in kitchens each offer a cosy dining area and are fully furnished with a micro wave oven, an electric cooker, an oven and a dishwasher. The light-flooded bedrooms feature furniture made of bright solid wood. The modern bathrooms have a shower each as well as a separate WC. A particular highlight is the private infrared warm-up cabin in each apartment, offering a comforting feeling of warmth and relax after an active day out and about. Between the main building and the guesthouse, there is our breakfast room and common room, with a cosy tiled stove that we built ourselves. In the evening, the common room can be used for a get-together but also for meetings. A beamer and WLAN are available for free. By request, we prepare a large buffet breakfast for our guests, with regional and homemade produce. Fresh eggs and milk come from our farm, bread and bread rolls are delivered by our local bakery. Enjoy your summer holiday in Ramsau with extensive walks or breathtaking mountaineering tours and experience the fascinating via ferratas or the adventurous Rittisberg. Take advantage of one of the numerous leisure activities offered by the Schladming Dachstein Summer card. In winter, the winter sports Eldorado Ramsau am Dachstein presents itself with snowy woods and sparkling snow crystals on the sunny plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein above Schladming and the Ennstal valley.
