Tour description
In the middle of the Schladming-Dachstein region lies our mountain farm at 960m above sea level on the Gumpenberg. You will get to know Styrian hospitality with us, the Moosbrugger family, on the day of your arrival. Our traditional farmhouse has a total of 2 double rooms and for our families we have a spacious four-bed room each with shower and toilet. In the morning you can expect a fortifying breakfast with homemade jams and fruit juices.
At Stanglhof you will find the right relaxation and can forget the stress of everyday life around you. For the children there are of course numerous play possibilities on the farm and the animals in the stable are happy to be stroked.
In winter are the perfect starting point for your skiing pleasure of the top class. In only 1. 5 km by car you reach the next ski lift, the „Höfi Express". Here at Hauser Kaibling is the easternmost entrance to the „4-mountain ski swing“ (4-Berge-Ski Schaukel) of Ski Amade. Fasten your skis and explore the 230 km of pistes - starting at Hauser Kaibling, via Planai, Hochwurzen to Reiteralm. In between, please don't forget to stop and enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding snow-covered mountains. It is also important that you get the necessary refreshment for in between at our numerous rustic huts on the ski mountain. A Kaiserschmarrn with Zwetschkenröster can revive your power and the ski action continues.
In summer, our family-run mountain farm is situated along the cycle and hiking trail to the popular Gumpental and the Styrian Lake Constance. Here already the alp with its lush green meadows and forests screams for you and the numerous mountain peaks are just waiting to be conquered by you. From the Stanglalm at the end of the valley you can hike to the breathtaking Moaralmsee and let your soul breathe for a moment. On the Stanglalm you can also have fun and games for your children and the little rabbits and goats are looking forward to your visit.
