Welcome to the Sonnenalm Mountain Lodge

For us, it has been a special feeling from the very beginning! Above Gröbming and only 20 minutes from Schladming, our house nestles at almost 1,200 m on the Michaelerberg. We felt the power and energy that emanates from this place. Quiet and yet not lonely! Soothing, security, in harmony with nature! That is why we feel at home here.

Beautiful for a vacation

Surrounded by a unique mountain panorama, our guests find the opportunity to relax while still being active. The picturesque natural backdrop offers countless possibilities to enjoy all seasons:

The ski paradise of the Schladming-Dachstein region in connection with Ski amadé can be reached in just over 20 minutes. The Ennstal offers several 18-hole golf courses and, of course, a variety of hiking and biking tours that you can even start directly from your doorstep. From the end of May to the end of October, our guests can enjoy the Schladming-Dachstein Card.

Relaxation and taking time for yourself again

No matter what the weather is like over the rugged peak landscape of the Ennstal – treat yourself to a little break in between. After a day full of activities, your body longs for some regeneration. Our relaxation area with its walls made of reclaimed wood invites you to linger! The scent of Swiss pine and reclaimed wood fills the room and has a calming aura! Or you can end the day with a barbecue evening. We are happy to provide you with our charcoal grill on the large terrace. Enjoy life and your stay with us!
