Our family-run country hotel Häuserl im Wald is located in the middle of the vacation region Schladming-Dachstein on the fog-free high plateau Mitterberg, near Gröbming. The Landhotel Häuserl im Wald is an ideal starting point for sporting activities in summer as well as in winter and at the same time the optimal place to rest and gather new strength. The entrance to the 4-mountain ski area is only 10 minutes away by car.

The quiet location of our hotel promises undisturbed and relaxing vacation enjoyment! Comfortably equipped with shower, WC, satellite TV with flat screen, radio, telephone, internet connection and balcony, our rooms and suites invite you to feel good. We have 36 rooms, mainly double rooms and multi-bed rooms, some single rooms and 3 suites.

Whether you want to experience nature in summer with extensive walks, take leisurely alpine hikes on our mountains, looking for more challenging mountain bike tours, the country hotel "Häuserl im Wald" is located in the center of the Schladming-Dachstein region and is the ideal starting point for sports activities of all levels! Our in-house pool invites you to relax on hot summer days. In our wine cellar, junior chef Christian Langanger invites you to tastings for every taste. 

In winter, pure skiing pleasure awaits you on the slopes of the popular Schladming-Dachstein winter sports region in Ski amadé! The nearby 4-mountain ski circuit connects the well-known ski mountains Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. Here, everyone will find their personal favorite downhill run! The fog-free location and the numerous paths for walks, winter hikes, horse-drawn sleigh rides and many other activities in the fresh winter air make the winter vacation for "non-skiers" a winter magic.
