Riesachtal- dogs not allowed in winter

Due to non-compliance with the leash requirement and in order to provide the necessary peace for wildlife, the alpine farmers have decided to prohibit access with dogs to the Riesachtal area during the winter months, from November 1st to April 30th!

The area covers the entire Riesachtal, starting from the barrier at the Riesachforststraße as well as the trail along the Riesachbach. The "kleine Wasserfallrunde" area and the winter hiking trail Weiße Wand - Seeleitenparkplatz - Steinriesental may still be used with leashed dogs in winter!
