Maierlalm

A holiday on a rustic alpine pasture in the middle of nature - that's exactly what our Maierlalm in Gumpental near Haus im Ennstal promises. Situated in the centre of the Schladming-Dachstein region, you can reach all the attractions our region has to offer within 10 to 20 minutes by car. But those seeking peace and relaxation will also get their money's worth here. Our Alm is located in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Gumpental without any direct neighbours.

Our Maierlalm has two separate bedrooms for a total of 5 people. Our hay bed for up to 3 people (please bring your own sleeping bag for this) also provides an unforgettable alpine flair. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and washbasin. As befits a rustic alpine hut, the outhouse is located outside the hut. A farmhouse kitchen with table cooker as well as a smaller kitchen and a cosy lounge complete the offer. Electricity, hot water and wood for the table cooker are included in the offer. What's more, there's hardly anything better than starting or ending the day on our terrace with a view of the Schladminger Tauern mountains.

At our home farm - Maierlhof in Ruperting - the milk from our cows is processed into high-quality dairy products (e.g. butter, curd cheese, cheese, etc.). You are welcome to purchase these directly from us and taste your holiday at its best.

A summer holiday at the Maierlalm means: enjoying alpine life in the midst of nature, hiking and mountain biking tours from the hut or just a few minutes' drive away and you are right in the middle of the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region with numerous cable cars, excursion destinations, swimming pools and leisure lakes, cultural offers and family attractions.
