The Kessler Alm & Bar is located right in the heart of Planai, next to the valley station of the Lärchkogellift (midway station of the cable car). Simply take the gondola up or park your car right next to the Kessler Alm & Bar. The bus stop is also right next door. Keen hikers can walk to us via the hiking trail, and for cyclists, the trail leads right past us.

Kessler Alm

In winter, the restaurant in the Alm offers a varied selection of culinary delicacies and a magnificent view of the Dachstein massif, which seems close enough to touch through the panoramic windows and the outdoor terrace. The Kessler Alm can seat 190 people and is known in winter for its fast and high-quality self-service buffet full of culinary delights. In summer, the panoramic terrace invites you to linger with cool drinks and delicious food.

Kessler Bar

The Kessler Bar – where modern architecture meets alpine charm – combines delicious drinks with good music in a dream location. With an unobstructed view of the Dachstein massif, it offers space for 90 people and seating for 55. In addition to visiting during opening hours, the Kessler Bar is also ideal as a location for birthday parties, corporate events, and many other occasions.
