Jagahütte

Our alpine hut is located in the Mörsbach valley at 1,450 m above sea level and can be reached by car in summer. In the summer months there are about 70 young cattle on the alpine pasture, which are supervised by the dairyman Franz. The Sennerhütte can be reached in approx. 10 minutes on foot from the Jagahütte. The two managed huts Oxenalm and Mörsbachwirt with their excellent cuisine are about half an hour's walk away.

The hut, which has been lovingly renovated from top to bottom, has a rustic charm and yet offers plenty of alpine comfort with electricity, running water and wood-fired heating. Four bedrooms with a total of 10 beds, a very spacious kitchen-cum-living room with a large dining table, a Swiss stone pine parlor as well as a bathroom and WC make the hut complete. Although you will hardly need it on the Alm (there are so many wonderful things to discover there), there is also a TV with satellite TV available.

In winter, we will take you to and from the hut in a skidoo. As an ideal starting point for experienced skiers and ski tourers, our hut is a real insider tip. The Riesneralm ski area is a good 10-minute walk away. You can then ski directly back to the hut. Our farm in the valley is ideal for families with small children and beginners.
