Hotel Waldfrieden

Our hotel is situated at an altitude of 1,100 m with a stunning view of the Dachstein massif and the surrounding valleys. In winter, we offer the perfect location, with the ski lifts located directly across from the hotel, allowing you to ski to and from the hotel. In summer, we serve as a starting point for hikes and walks. The Hochwurzen cable car across from the hotel effortlessly takes you to our hiking and local mountain, the Hochwurzen. You will receive the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card with many benefits (free use of the cable cars, etc.) upon arrival.
We offer different room types, each combining appealing and modern flair with tradition. Thanks to our half-board service, you will also be well taken care of in terms of culinary delights. In addition to a diverse breakfast buffet, you can enjoy an afternoon snack and an evening menu with a rich salad buffet. We regularly host special theme nights and offer themed buffets.
At the latest, you will find plenty of opportunities to relax in our spacious wellness area, featuring a Finnish sauna, aroma steam bath, bio sauna, infrared cabin, herbal bath, and a 2-zone panorama sauna, as well as massage treatments, hydrojet massage bed, and a panoramic relaxation room. You can also set sporty accents in our fitness room with a fantastic view, our indoor pool, and outside in our infinity pool.
