Heart of the House - Troadkasten at Hauser Kaibling is a very special retreat for everyone who loves original cabin flair, plenty of wood, and the tranquility of the Styrian mountains. The lovingly renovated Troadkasten is situated at about 1,200 meters above sea level on Oberhausberg – nestled between green meadows and forests and surrounded by beautiful nature.

With 42 m², the cozy accommodation offers space for a standard of four and a maximum of five people. The spacious bedroom on the upper floor is equipped with two 140-cm beds and a sofa bed. A second sleeping area, accessible separately from the outside with a bunk bed, provides additional retreat options and is particularly suitable for children. A bathroom with a shower completes the room offer.

In the cozy living kitchen, traditional wooden elements meet practical comfort. The facilities include an electric stove without an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and an espresso machine. A special highlight is the wood stove, which provides pleasant warmth and authentic cabin atmosphere on cooler days. Wi-Fi and an internet-capable television are also available.

On the terrace and balcony, the special location amidst nature can be wonderfully enjoyed. Here you look out over forests and green meadows and can leave everyday life far behind for a while. Pets are also warmly welcomed in the Heart of the House. A baby bed and a high chair are available for families.

In winter, you can reach the middle station of Hauser Kaibling by car and can directly enter the ski area from there. There is no direct access to the slopes from the accommodation. Due to the altitude, we recommend bringing snow chains in winter. Two free parking options – one of them covered – are located directly at the accommodation.
