Haus Bergwald, our family-run bed and breakfast, lies at holidayregion Schladming-Dachstein, in a wonderfully sunny and quiet spot on the Ramsau am Dachstein plateau, the green heart of Styria. In winter, the cross-country trail passes by the front door, and one of the Ramsau ski lifts, the Drachenlift, is only five minutes away by foot. At our home Haus Bergwald, settle in to comfortable double rooms with cosy-yet-rustic furniture. All our rooms have a shower and WC, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony with breathtaking views. Your host Johann Knaus is an experienced mountain and ski guide and offers, at an extra charge, guided hiking, climbing, ski touring, or snowshoeing tours anytime. He is also very happy to assist you in planning your own tours. In winter, you are moments away from Ramsau am Dachstein’s 220-km-network of well-groomed cross-country trails, offering runs for all abilities. Alpine skiers will be delighted to find the ski runs of the Drachenlift within a short distance. The bus stop is only a two-minute walk away and offers access to the Ramsau ski region, to the Dachstein glacier, and to Schladming, the centre of the four interlinked mountains and ski amade. Even during the warm season, Haus Bergwald makes sure you spend a holiday filled with fun and adventure.
