The Rohrmoos-Untertal in the Schladming-Dachstein region is nestled in meadows and forests, surrounded by an impressive mountain world. Here you will find our traditionally run Gasthof Michlbauer. With us, at Gasthof Michlbauer, you and your family or friends will find the perfect accommodation for your holiday experience. Our house has double, triple and four-bed rooms. Each room is individually furnished with solid wood furniture and partly with a balcony, which invites you to take a deep breath in the morning. Even if you would like to come with your group, you have come to the right place at Gasthof Michlbauer. Our playground with a big trampoline is waiting for our little guests, but also the little sheep, rabbits and cats are waiting for you to stroke them.
In winter, the peace and quiet of the Untertal valley comes to an end and a thick layer of white snow adorns the valley. The dreamlike winter landscape seduces you to romantic walks or you explore the valley with snowshoes and stomp through the woods. Even cross-country skiers get their money's worth with us and so you can start into the Kristallloipe (approx. 20 km long) just 200m away from the inn - no matter if you are a connoisseur or a top athlete! You can reach the entrance to the Skiwelt Amadé with the 4-mountain ski swing in just 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by bus, which is waiting for you directly in front of the front door. More than 230 km of pistes guarantee you and your family fun and action and you can find Kaiserschmarrn for in between on the numerous huts.
In summer we are the perfect starting point for the Wilde Wasser Alpinsteig, Gollinghütte and Keinprechthütte. Numerous peaks and crystal clear mountain lakes await you! The Duisitzkarsee is a special highlight for every hike. You can also reach the world championship city of Schladming in just 3. 5 km through the impressive Talbachklamm gorge. After an exciting hike, traditional and regional delicacies await you at the Gasthof Michlbauer.
