The 3-Star Hunerkogel Inn profits from its proximity to the Dachstein Gondola. As it lies at 1.700 metres above sea level, it is the perfect starting point for all kinds of activities surrounding the Dachstein glacier. Additionally, numerous events take place here - the Ramsauer Almtag (alpine pasture day) and the Weisenblasen (brass music event), the Dachstein X-treme, the climbing festival 'Viva Ferrata' or the ceremonial driving down of cattle.
The sunrises are a delight to watch from here, especially in autumn and winter. During the flowering season, our alpine garden will show you its unique colours.
