Welcome to E42 Mountainsteil!
We are the Spielbichler family and we show you that even a small "hotel" has a lot to offer. For about 200 years, our establishment has been run by the family and has been gradually expanded and modernized over the years. Today, E42 Mountainsteil is your place to feel good and unwind.
Value does not always lie in being bigger, more pompous, or having more. We unite all the advantages of larger establishments in a small house and enrich it with our family warmth and our very special Styrian flair.
Rustic coziness, traditionally modern alpine culinary delights, and the charm of the Alps make every gourmet's heart beat faster. This begins for us already at check-in and continues through to our rooms. Each of the 9 rooms has its own special features and its own flair.
At breakfast, we like to showcase what our local farmers and producers have to offer. In the evening, we move to the only steak tavern in the area. It should not be unusual that great value is placed on homemade dishes and local ingredients, with many having spent their time on their own meadow or in the garden. Cozy ambiance with local hospitality is highly valued in our family business and will help you forget the daily work stress. Enjoying drinks, savoring our dishes with the extraordinary "I-Tüpfelchen," and winding down the day will make every vacation a special experience.
The eastern first access to the Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Resort - our local mountain Hauser Kaibling - is only 300 m away and is easily accessible on foot.
