Dachsteinhaus lies on the southern slope of the Brandriedel. The Gasthaus was built in 1930 and has stayed within the family for three generations.
Because of its numerous events on customs, folk music and dialect poetry, the Dachsteinhaus was awarded the title ‘Musikantenfreundlichste Gaststätte’ (musician-friendliest Gasthaus) by county Styria in 2000.
Enjoy the regional cuisine – tasted and copied by TV Chef Reinhard Grundner – as well as homemade juices and Schnaps on the sun terrace or in the cosy guest rooms.
