Castle Trautenfels

From the starting point at the municipal office in Wörschach, go down to the village street and from there along Wörschacher Straße through the underpass of the federal highway. Just after the underpass, turn left and at the next intersection, go right over the level crossing and along the field path to the Enns. Here, you will walk upstream along the Enns. At the Maitscherner Enns Bridge, cross the state road and continue along the Ennsweg until the Leistenbach flows into the Enns. Here is the Natur.Kraft.Platz "Wasserplatz an der Enns". From there, follow the path along the Leistenbach until you reach the roadway next to the federal highway. Here, head north towards Niederhofen and shortly after, turn left over the overpass of Wanne Niederhofen. Shortly after, turn left on Grazer Straße until you reach the entrance of Niederhofen.

If you start at the train station Stainach-Irdning, go up into the village and follow Grazer Straße until the entrance of Niederhofen.

You enter Niederhofen and pass the cemetery with the beautiful church until you reach the intersection. Here, turn left up towards the entrance to the Fürstensteig. At the end of the street, go up the path through the meadows to the Fürstensteig, which you then follow eastward to Wörschach. After a few minutes, you will reach the 4-Elemente Natur.Kraft.Platz at Schloss Friedstein. Continue along the Fürstensteig, where you will also cross the Lunglgraben with its stream. Shortly thereafter, you will arrive at the Felsen-Wasser Natur.Kraft.Platz. From there, it’s only a few minutes back to the municipal office in Wörschach.

If you started in Stainach, you will follow the description from the municipal office as described above from Wörschach. After the section along the Leistenbach, take the underpass of the federal highway over to the tennis courts and the sports field in Stainach. From the entrance to the sports field, follow the sidewalk along Roseggerstraße to the sewage treatment plant and continue straight along Sallaberger Weg to Bioenergie Stainach. Here, Sallaberger Weg turns south, and you will continue straight for just a few minutes to the train station.
